Breathing Attack
This work creates diversity of power and line with breath and blow as the material. A dancer and another dancer enters into relationship and parts with breathing. They rapidly perform number of movements in about a second, and stop the body using instant breath while in difficult situation. This piece creates natural relationship with the audience through the concentration on the body.
“몸으로 말하지 않는다. 몸으로 몸한다.”
‘호흡’, 그리고 ‘타격’ 이라는 용어를 떠올려보자. 만약 당신이 무용전공자라면, 전공자답게 무용적인 쓰임새를 먼저 떠올릴 것이다. 하지만 우리는 매일 숨을 쉬며, 쉴 새 없이 움직인다. 벌 한 마리가 내 주위를 맴돌 때라던가 어떤 물건이 날아오면 나는 자연스럽게 다치지 않기 위한 방어 자세를 취한다. 또한 오랜 시간 동안 같은 반복적인 자세나 동작을 취하며 일해야 하는 사람들은 자연스럽게 그 자세나 동작에 가장 효율적인 방법을 찾게 된다. 이렇듯 우리는 늘 호흡하고, 늘 무언가와 상호작용한다. 이를 이용해 찾을 수 있는 동작들에 집중하려고 한다
<Breathing attack>은 호흡과 타격을 질료로 하여 무용동작(힘과 선의 다양성)을 만들어 보려고 한다. 무용수와 무용수가 호흡으로 관계를 맺고 호흡으로 헤어진다. 약 1초안에 제 빠르게 3가지의 동작을 해내기도 하며 힘든 와중에도 순간의 호흡을 이용하여 몸을 정지시키기도 한다.
